Zuckerberg comes out in support of Muslims on Facebook


Following the call for ‘complete shutdown’ on Muslims entering US by Donald Trump, Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook sympathised with Muslims in the community for the fear of being persecuted for actions of others.
Referring to the Paris attacks and hate this week, he voiced his support to Muslims around the world, added that they would always be welcome on Facebook and supported in the fight for their rights to a peaceful and safe environment.
He added that, “Having a child has given us so much hope, but the hate of some can make it easy to succumb to cynicism. We must not lose hope. As long as we stand together and see the good in each other, we can build a better world for all people.”

Donald Trump, born to a Scottish emigrant mother and emigrated German grandparents, made the statement during a speech for his Presidential campaign addressing the Syrian refugee crisis. He has refused to opt out of the 2016 Presidential race , even after facing criticism on his statements says to the Guardian .
