Preseason debuts of LeBron, Kobe lead NBA TV's coverage
NBA TV will televise 31 live preseason game telecasts -- including the expected preseason debuts of LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers, Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers, Chris Paul and the Los Angeles Clippers and many of the league's top stars -- when action tips off Friday, Oct. 2, with the Denver Nuggets visiting the Clippers at 10:30 p.m. ET.

The network's schedule will also feature the anticipated preseason debuts of NBA rookies including the Los Angeles Lakers' D'Angelo Russell, the Philadelphia 76ers' Jahlil Okafor and the Nuggets' Emmanuel Mudiay. Additionally, the live game schedule includes multiple appearances by the NBA champion Golden State Warriors, Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls, Houston Rockets, Lakers and Clippers, accompanied by a full slate of original programming -- 2015-16 NBA team preview shows, NBA GameTime and special episodes of The Starters.
NBA TV's opening weekend schedule will feature Bryant, Russell and the Lakers hosting the Utah Jazz and Gordon Hayward on Sunday, Oct. 4, at 9 p.m., from Honolulu, Hawaii. Two nights later, the Sixers and Okafor will visit the Washington Wizards and John Wall on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 7 p.m.
James and the Eastern Conference champion Cavaliers will make its preseason debut in Cincinnati, hosting the Atlanta Hawks and Jeff Teague on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 7 p.m. The network will feature the second game between the Jazz and Lakers from Honolulu at 12 a.m. (Oct. 6 at midnight), and the Sacramento Kings and DeMarcus Cousins at Phoenix Suns and Eric Bledsoe at 10 p.m. that same day.
Additionally, NBA TV will televise live coverage of the NBA Global Games 2015, an international preseason exhibition beginning Thursday, Oct. 6, at 2:30 p.m., when the Boston Celtics and offseason acquisition David Lee visit Olimpia Milano in Milan, Italy. Later that week, the Celtics will visit Spain to face Real Madrid on Thursday, Oct. 8 at 3 p.m. The Charlotte Hornets and Clippers will meet for games in Shenzhen and Shanghai, China, on Sunday, Oct. 11, at 1:30 a.m. and Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 8 a.m., respectively. The Orlando Magic and Flamengo will close out the NBA's global preseason tour on Saturday, Oct. 17 at 5:30 p.m., from Rio de Janeiro.
NBA TV will offer in-depth coverage of all 30 NBA teams with back-to-back 30-minute NBA Team Previews airing nightly at 6 and 6:30 p.m. beginning Wednesday, Oct. 7 with the Clippers and Warriors. The first week's schedule will also include the Bulls and Toronto Raptors on Thursday, Oct. 8, the Lakers and Cavaliers on Friday, Oct. 9, and the Oklahoma City Thunder and Rockets on Saturday, Oct. 10.
The Starters will preview the regular season as they answer '72 Burning Questions' with a series of nine special preseason episodes airing Monday through Friday beginning Tuesday, Oct. 13 at 5:30 p.m.
The league's signature studio show, NBA GameTime, will provide insight and commentary throughout the preseason including analysis from Steve Smith, Dennis Scott, Isiah Thomas and the show's deep roster of contributors.
